When you complete a form on this site — such as our contact / enquiry form or a white paper download form — we collect the information you enter, which typically includes:
- Your name
- Your company name
- Your business email address
- Your phone number (where provided)
- Any message or free-text notes you send us
- Your ADR / Energy Ombudsman registration status (on the enquiry form)
3. Information collected automatically
To understand how visitors find us, measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and prevent abuse, we automatically collect the following technical and marketing data when you submit a form on this website. All of it is attached to the form submission and sent to our internal team alongside the details you provide.

- Your browser's user-agent string
- Your screen and browser viewport size
- Your browser language and time zone
We use standard browser sessionStorage to remember first-touch attribution values (such as UTMs and the referring page) so that if you browse several pages before submitting a form, we can still attribute the enquiry to the original source. This data is cleared automatically when you close the browser tab and is not shared with third parties from the browser.
4. Cookies and analytics
This site uses a small number of third-party services that may set cookies or otherwise collect information for measurement, tag management, and abuse prevention:
- Google Tag Manager — used to load and manage marketing and analytics tags.
- Snitcher — reverse-IP company identification, used to understand which businesses are visiting our site. This does not identify individual visitors.
- Fraud Blocker — helps us detect click fraud on our paid advertising.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using this website.
5. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry or send you the white paper you requested.
- To follow up with you about becoming a Tritility partner or sub-broker where you have expressed interest.
- To measure the performance of our marketing campaigns and improve how we reach relevant brokers.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent form submissions, spam, and abuse.
- To comply with our legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations.
6. Legal basis for processing
Under the UK GDPR we rely on the following lawful bases:
- Legitimate interests — for responding to business enquiries you send us, understanding marketing performance, and preventing fraud and abuse. We have assessed that our interest in operating and marketing our partner channel does not override your rights and freedoms as a business contact.
- Performance of a contract or steps prior to entering a contract — where you have asked us to onboard you as a sub-broker or partner.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain records for tax, compliance, or regulatory reasons.
7. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate this website and our business, including:
- Supabase — our backend, database, and serverless function provider that stores form submissions.
- Resend — the transactional email service that delivers enquiry and white paper notification emails to our internal team.
- Google, Meta, Microsoft, and LinkedIn — where you arrived from one of their advertising platforms, we share click identifiers with their measurement products so that we can attribute conversions.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
8. How long we keep it
We retain form submissions and the associated tracking data for as long as necessary to follow up on the enquiry and for our legitimate business records. Where a submission does not lead to an onboarding or ongoing commercial relationship, we typically retain it for up to 24 months and then delete or anonymise it. Records tied to an active partner or sub-broker relationship are retained for the duration of that relationship and for the period required by our regulatory and accounting obligations after it ends.
9. Where your data is processed
Our backend infrastructure is hosted within the European Union or the United Kingdom. Some of our sub-processors (for example, email delivery and advertising measurement providers) may process data outside the UK / EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete data we no longer need to hold.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent, where processing is based on your consent.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

11. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging on our backend. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work to minimise risk and to respond quickly if anything goes wrong.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you about the change on the site.
